In November 2015, Mesquite voters passed a $125 bond election to repair more than 100 miles of Grade 4 residential streets throughout the community. This 10-year Real. Texas. Roads. program will also include additional concrete and steel reinforcement, new sidewalks and handicap ramps where needed. Streets repairs will be grouped by area for efficient construction and any underground utilities due for repair or replacement will be completed prior to any street improvements.
